Riverina Institute, like other TAFE Institutes, encourages local Aboriginal participation in education and training through community consultation and the provision of special programs and services. At Riverina this is done through the Aboriginal Education Service and by three Aboriginal Coordinators (ACs).
The article describes how the Service operates, describes some of the special programs run and the direction Riverina Institute will be taking in the future.
